The database consists of an image set of longitudinal micro-CT scans
on four live mice. These mice over-express the ribonucleotide reductase
(RNR), an enzyme essential for making nucleotides, and develop lung tumors
around 11 or 12 months of age. These in vivo scans were acquired using
a GE eXplore CT 120 micro-CT scanner and were reconstructed at 50 x 50 x
50 µm3 resolution. Respiratory gating was performed to acquire imaging
during the quiescent/refractory period after each breath to minimize
motion artifacts. The mice were scanned a minimum of three times each,
with at least three weeks between scans. There are a total of 19 scans
included in the longitudinal study.
The documented cases may be visualized and downloaded.
